About Me
Hi there! I’m so glad you’ve found Ms. V’s Toolbox, a space where I share practical tips and strategies to help you feel confident and successful in your teaching journey.
I’ve spent 12 years in the classroom, teaching everything from kindergarten to 5th grade, and each year has given me a deeper understanding of what it takes to create an engaging and well-managed classroom. I’ve also had over 10 years of experience in an IB-PYP school, where I focused on inquiry-based learning—helping students ask questions, explore ideas, and take ownership of their learning.
Classroom management is something I’m really passionate about. For more than 8 years, I’ve implemented Responsive Classroom and ENVoY strategies to build positive, respectful, and smooth-running classrooms. I also have 2 years of training in Developmental Design and Catalyst, giving me a well-rounded approach to fostering a great classroom culture. On top of that, I’ve spent the past couple of years mentoring new and struggling teachers—helping them build the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
Through this blog, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned with you—whether it’s classroom management strategies, lesson ideas, or step-by-step guides to make your teaching life smoother. Thanks for joining me on this journey!
